Slaughterhouse Five Initial Reaction

My independent reading book is Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut, which i've been meaning (but failing) to read for about 4 years now... and so far I'm definitely enjoying it. His sort of dry and snarky humor really shows through and adds a lighter and funny touch to his narration of an otherwise more serious story. His writing style and tone is a lot different than most other books I've read for school, which makes it very refreshing and something I'd actually want to pick up read on a free afternoon.
